1.
"Had enough, had enough, now I'm leaving, Push me away like a sense of cohesion, I don't do things the modern way, Kick myself around in the hope it fades away"
2.
"I'm intoxicated you see, You've done this to me, But we're having too much fun to let you go. Good Times are too good to let the Bad Times take over, Good Times are too good to let the Bad Times take over, Good Times are too good to let the Bad Times take over, Good Times are too good, Oh don't you know... "
3.
"And if you want it, Why don't you come and get it, And if you want it, Why try when you're never gonna make us happen, I know that nothing's gonna drag you away, (nothing) I try, I know I'm gonna make us happen, I know that nothing's gonna stand in my way (nothing)"
4.
"And it's all o'er before you know, Just one last drink before we go. We all think that there's no one by our side, We look around this town and see the people I despise, We all think that we've got something to hide, I've told you once, won't tell you twice, We'll all get left behind"

about

Biography

“After forming in April 2010, “The Illustrated” quickly built up an original repertoire and began gigging around Central Scotland with their take on Alternative/Indie-Rock Music. The bands Demo EP titled; “Up’s and Downs in Small Time Towns” was released in December 2010 and it has been a springboard to their growing fan base.

Having recently won a competition seeking local talent in Edinburgh, they  performed on the main stage at Leith Festival, to large crowd, which grew as they played. Having airplay of their Demo EP on Leith FM, as well as a live acoustic set too, has increased their notability and popularity around Central Scotland.

“The Illustrated” are perhaps best known for their incredible live performances. They play onstage with a close connection and vibrant energy - both tight and entertaining. This is born from a love of simply doing what they do, which is seen easily by anyone watching.

They are in the process of writing and recording their new anticipated EP. This will light the way towards a momentous EP Tour Launch around Scotland, and more acclaim to the band and their distinctive, appealing sound. These big plans will lead to even bigger achievements - impressive for a band which have been together such a short space of time.”
